Mystery Fdrm
The Mystery Farm last week was “Belle Meade”, the farm of Mrs. W B. Kilby on route 231, in the F. T. Valley near Sperryville., Mr, and Mrs. Kilby purchased the farm and built their home in 1902. .The 137 acre farm ' is now operated by Earl Kilby, who lives there with his wife, the former Miss Ruth Burt, and their three children, Walter B„ Betty Kay and Jane Burt.
Short horn and Hereford cattle are raised by Mr. Kilby. Crops^ are apples, cbm, hay and small"' gram. , .
Mrs Kilby and Mr. and Mrs. Kilby are members of the F. T* Valley Baptist Church. The first to correctly identify the farm was Dike Quaintance, Others guessing right were Mrs. Walker Jenkins, Mrs. C. H. Hite , Mrs. Hugh Deal, Mrs. Charlotte Trout, Mrs. Lester Jenkins and John Waylandl
