Based on earlier hatches of egg type chicks there will also be for January about 40 per Cent more replacement pullets added to laying flocks than last year. By February 1 there will be 50 per cent more pullets, By March 1, 43 per cent more and by April 1, 26 per cent more.
Even with shortage stocks standing at about two-thirds of last year on October 1, there will be a lot more eggs around.
Grade A large eggs were bringing 47 cents in Richmond last week, and^-mediums 31. In .the Valley, Gtade A Urge were! 44 to 47 with mediums at 30-33. -
Norfolk Was paying 47 for grade A large and 31 for mediums and ?iew York had nearby Grade A large at 52-55 and mediums at 30^-35.
