A Telling Tuesday It is difficult not to wax expansive over the- election results of this past week. Particularly pleasing were,the re*, turns from the closed school areas of Warren' County, Charlottesville and Norfolk. There the fight for constitu-. tional rights was supposed to evaporate in the face of Federal Court rulings that closed public schools. Instead the people in those areas, like the rest of Virginia, made it perfectly clear. that they were willing to take closed schools before they would accept Federal dictatorship or an abridgment of their constitutional rights. v With this mandate, we are confident that another year will see a negative situation changed into a positive one.
