The month of April is Cancer Control Month. The American Cancer Society, in cooperation with public health and medical authorities, is seeking to eliminate this tragic waste of life by telling the people the facts of cancer; and by urging health checkups as the best i protection against this cruel disease 'and inviting the combined efforts ;of volunteers, voluntary Contributions and voluntary organisations to fight it ! *
The people of Virginia are invited to join in these efforts by the jobyrvance of April as Cancer Control Month, and by giving their jsupport to die American Cancer Society’s annual effort * to " raise funds vitally needed for its program of education, research and ^ervice.
