Farm Near Castleton
Mr. and Mrs. Vernon P. Deitch of Gainesville, Va. have fecerrtly purchased the 218 acre “Buck Alther Farm” on the Thornton River near Castleton, from Brue Settle.
The Leitchs plan to build a new home within a few years.
Mr. Leitch, who is employed by the Veterans Administration i n Washington, D. C., plans to retire in four years and live on the farm. He also raises game as a hobby.
The sale wa§ negotiated by Ray T. Cannon, realtor of Castleton. through the cooperation of T. J, Pillar of Sperryville.
