Automobile Accident Driver Not Seriously Hurt

Monday morning, March 30, on. Route 211, about one-half mile south of Washington at 4:50 a.m., a 1958 Buick owned and operated by Charles Bernard Atkins, a federal bank evaminer of Hampton, Virginia, hit the bridge at Big Branch, causing a $250 damage to the bridge and a total loss of the automofeilp,

Mr. Atkins received cuts and abrasions of the right hand and knee and a cut under his chin requiring four stitches.

Trooper John L. Lowman was the investigating officer.
