According to C. EL Johnson, Director, Virginia Farm Bureau, who was in Columb -i, Ohio for die AFBF National Apple Con- ' derence, the-meeting was quite a success. His report of the pneeting follows.
Total attend iqoe was about 65.
Seventeen apple states were represented, ranging from Maine to Virginia and west to California, Oregon and Washington. The principal states not represented were Massachusetts and North CaroPna. AH* told, about 90% of our commercial apple crop was represented. V

.There was also a talk on the Farm Labor Problems and Labor Management Practices. The meet-; tng closed with with an address on “The Road Ahead”. The meeting was interspersed with discussions, principally on matters of marketing, and promotion. ■
