Livestock Judging Contest w*s held at Verona hat -Sunitf-with twelve teams competinr Rappahannock’s team placed 5th in the contest with a total of 1058 points. Clarke County w|as first, with 1133 points followed by • Augusta with 1117 points. Madison County was third with 1097 points followed by Loudoun with 1062 points. It was a close contest and considering we started out wih a “brand new” team this year, with the exception of one boy, I thijnlk we can all be proud of our boys.
The team members were: Lyle Updike, Randall| Updi ke and Fraincie Updike. Walter B. Kilby and Harrison Powers judged as alternates. Lyle Updike was high score on the Rappahannock Team and tied for ninth place individual of the contest with Pete Lohr of Madison County.
