Ellis Herbert Jenkins of Washington, Va. died Monday, May 4 at tjhe Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, Va.
Deceased 71 years of age was the son of the late Robert and Catherine Jenkins of Rappahannock County, Va.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vennie Atkins Jenkins of Washington, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Clifford Woodward and Mrs. Burnam Atkins of Washington, Vai.; two sons Jonas Jenkins of Washington, Va. and Athey Jenkins of Augusta, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Dodson and Mrs. Clarence Jenkins of Washington, Vd- and two brothers, Hubert* Jenkins and Boot Jenkins of SperTyville, Va.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 6 at the Washington Baptist Church, with interment hi the Washington Masonic Cemetery. Rev. John Divers conducted the last rites.
Friends of the deceased served as active pallbearers.
