Miss Lelia Taylor Gentry of Flint Hill, a senior in the School of Home Economics a!t V.P.I., was notified Friday that she had been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship, which provides all expense-; for a year of graduate study at the University of . Copenhagen in Denmark. These credits will be toward a Master’s degree j.
Miss Gentry has been active in the-Wesleyan fellowship of ^t Methodist Church, the Wesley players,. 4-H. dub and is a member of Pi Tau CW, a national honorary society of rekgiou* leadership and Phi. Sigma^oaety for the promo- * tion ,of research in the biological sciences. .
Miss Gentry will be graduated from V.P.I. June 7 with a Bcche lor’s degree in nutrition and will sail from New Yoric for Denmark on July 8. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Gentry of Flint Hill.
