I he Northern district 't-ri Electric Demonstration was held in the Court House in Front Royal last Friday afternoon . and Rappahannock County was represented by Louie Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller, FTinlt Hill. Louie recieved a “red award” for his demonstration on the repair of a shock-proof trouble light. This demonstration involved the actual putting together of the trouble light with,a play by play explanation of the proper assembling method safety precautions to be observed and the uses of such* service cord. Louie gave a well organized ^demonstration as is evident by his receiving a red award.
Saturday morning I visited some 4-H’crs who plan to fatten, show , and sell their pigs in one, or both of the following 4-H Hog Shows and Sales: Orange Area Hog Show, August 25, and the WarrenPage-Rappahannoek Hog Show and Sale, August 28th at Front Royal. The Updike‘Brothers and John O’Bannon plan to show their hogs at both shows, while Eddie Core and IHarrison Powers will show and sell their hogs a: the ( Front Royal Show.
