Washington, D.| C —July 30, 1959—Hallic V. I Lawrence, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles G. Lawrence, Amissville, Virginia, has received the Sustained Superior Performance Award from Maj. Gen. Rush B. Lincoln, Jr., U. S. Army Deputy Chidf of Transportation.

A native of Rappahannck County, Miss Lawrence graduated from the Washington High School in Washington,' Va. tnitf'attended the Boyd’s School of Commerce. Before cuminf ro the Tnmsportariwt Corps in August 1952, Miss Lawrence worked for idle Ordnance Cor^s, Department of the Army. She is a recent graduate of the Army Management Distribution Course at Fort La. Va.
