Budget

The Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County held their regular monthly meeting August 3 at the Court House at Washington with all member- present.

Motion was made and unanimously carried to request toe Welfare and School Boards to report monthly on finances; amounts expended and balances.

The Board approved the road budget though members were no: pleased with the allotment for Rappahannock County.

Suitable resolutions in regard to the death of A. C Latham, who had served on die Board for 24 years, are to be'drawn up and a copy sent to the family and a copy retained with the Board.

E. M. Jones was recommended to serve on the Welfare Board. His name will be submitted to Judge R. V. Snead for appointment.

Sheep claims were disposed of and appropriations for September read.
