Glad ! Mary Llta is having a short vacation with , her sister, Minnie. They always have so much fun. It’s nice Carlyle is home to run the store for her. From my office desk, I can see “Dump” and Elizabeth De Bergh sitting on Massies porch. Wish I could hear what they are saying. 1 almost can. Hear Sheriff Critzer is having a terrible time getting the names straight on some womens apparel that was recently reported missing in the county.
I Gosh it’s turned hot again guess we will all be glad tq see a little cool weather. Saw Cassie Coates out at the house this morning. Both of her big toes were bandaged. Asked Betty what was wrong. It seems Cassie will not wear shoes, consequently, she picks up anything that will stick and hurt in her two biggest.
