Normality egg prices turn up a little from mid-October to midNovember, and there is nothing kt the big picture to indicate they won’t this year, once these tempory factors clear up.

Total estimated egg production on October 1 was less than one per cent above October 1 a year ago. Storage was up 20 per cent from last year, but still beloW average for the date.

School lunch dried egg purchases were discontinued ^September 1, but Spain was to start spending $1,000,000 in government credits to buy U.S. eggs to be shipped in September and October.

There was one seriously disturbing factor ip the picture for the man who intends to stay in the egg business. Although consumer demand is turning up seasonally per capita consumption continues to decline even with lower prices.
