Dear Mrs. Miller,
My first reason for writing this note is to tell you how very much I enjoy reading your column, Ramblings From Rappahannock in die Rappahannock Newt. It is almost like getting a personal letter from a close friend. I am enclosing a Christmas and New Year tract along with several poems. I hope you may find room to publish them in die paper between now and Christmas.
1 would like to know if there is a charge for printing the articles entitled “Strength Of Life” which have appeared ni the New. I often come across beautiful religious poems which I feel would be worth publishing. 1 would be glad to contribute some of these occasionally.
I am an arthritis cripple and have been a shut-in for more than twenty. years. I can’t write too well because of this condition. If I should contribute anything to the paper it will be necessary for me to do it in longhand since 1 can’t type. -
