Heart Council Meeting
The Culpeper, Rappahannock, Warren Heart Council met Tuesday, January 12 at the Virginia Gentleman Restaurant in Front Royal. Mrs. Paul Hounshell of Culpeper and Dr. John Cadden of Front Royal were guest speakers. Mrs. Paul Miller of Flint Hill is president of the Council.
Park Travel Higher
The Shenandoah National Park reported lastt week that travel for the calendar year exceeded 1958 by 7.9 per cent. The report said that in 1959 there were 1,786,728 visitors to the Park as compared to 1,655,266 in 1958. There were 45,114 visitors during December 1959.
