4tH Highlights - 1959
This past year, one-hundred and thirty-two boys were enrolled in “duo work,” and of this number, ninety-three completed their projects successfully, which amounted to just a little above 70'r of the total boys enroMed. This is about average for the State, however, it isn't'good enough for our Rappahannock 4-H Clubs!! Next year, I know all of our 4-H’ers will honestly strive to raise the number of , turned in 4-H records so each of theii individual clubs can boast of the %>mplctencss of their projects as,well as to bring local and state recognition to their club program.
Needless to say, this has been a ■very successful 4-H year for Rappahannock club members. Of course, the excellent showing our livestock judging team made in all of their contests this past fall was one of the most outstanding activities of our 4-H year, however, many other county activities deserve just as much credit.
