At the convening of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County with Judge R. V. Snead presiding, Stanley Lee Scrogginns of Flint I I'll was sentenced to 17 years in the State penitentiary for ar.v.n and robbery at “Hillsboro”, the home i,f Col. Karl Holmes near Flint Hill, on Friday, April 10, 1959. the house and its contents were completely destroyed except for the furnishings of one room.

Sally Turner of Flint Hill, who was charged with creating a disturbance, resisting arrest and assault on an officer at Flat Woods Inn, was fined $25 and cost and 00 days sentence suspended on gixal behavior for 12 months; ordered to stay away from the premises of Flat Woods Inn for 12 months.

Nathan Fletcher and Melvin |j:d‘n were charged with interfering with an officer making an arrest at Flat Woods Inn. Both were fined $25 and given 60 days_ in jail. James Arthur Freeman charged with the same offense was fined $25.
