Mr. Summerfield pointed out that there were three things clearly evident. 1. Demand that local, State and Federal Governments adopt legislation strengthening present laws and closing the loopholes through whith these racketeers operate. 2. Organize parents and other interested individuals of your church and community in speaking clearly on the subject, protesting where need be, filth found on local news stands or anywhere else. 3. Certainly, if you find any filth in your mail box take it to your Postmaster immediately, so that legal action con be brought against the offender.
In the January issue of Royal Ser\ice, the official publication of the Woman’s Missionary l n'on of the Southern Baptist Convention, is a most enlightening article, “Filth In Your Mail Box”. The article containsvmany direct quotes from the Postmaster General, pointing to the seriousness of the situation which he feels will continue to get worse, unless vigorously checked.
