Cathy Bowersett will arrive on Thursday to visit her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle during the absence of her parents, Dr. and Mrs. R. S. Bowersett who will visit Capt. and Mrs. Robert 1 Petersen at their home in Atlanta, Ga. and friends in Athens, Ga. Enroute home they will visit friends in Gate City.
Mrs. Will Devers spent the day Monday as the guest of Capt. and Mrs. J. P. Cook.
Mrs. Willie Gentry spent the weekend as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Adren Dodson at their home in Staunton. W. C. Gentry has been transferred from a Staunton hospital to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dodson. His condition is improved.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker and family visited Capt. and Mrs. J. P. Cook Sunday enroute to their home in Falls Chuch from Charlottesville where they had spent the weekend.
Sunday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Warren Frank of Luray and Miss Kate Walker of Washington, Va. visited Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Lillard of Far Meadow Farm and Earl Putman of Amissville were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Pullen.
