During American Education Week the students and teachers at Rappahannock High School are trying to better understand them1 selves and help the parents and friends to learn the real meaning of this week and why we observe it this year and every year in November.
During the week the large bulletin board in the front hall and the smaller one in the .library of the school will feature pictures, articles, pamphlets and other forms of display about this week which may be both enjoyable and educational to any and all who will stop on their way to and from classes to look at and read them.
There will be an assembly program on Thursday, the last thing | in the day, sponsored by the FTA (Future Teachers of America), | concerning the why’s and where! fore’s of this week. It is hoped that this program will better explain to the pupils what this week is.
Invitations have been sent home to each parent telling them that!
