Lake Motel
Saturday afternoon about forty members of the Washington Ski Club enjoyed an open bous picnic at The Lake Motel pavilion in Washington, Va. The* outing was planned to welcome ski club members to Rappahannock County and to the new Skyline Ski Club which hopes to be ready for business by the first snowfall.
Most of the members came early and went on a personal inspection tour of the Skyline Ski area which is located approximately three miles northwest of Washington, oij Harris Hollow Road.
A fine group of folk singers from the Washington, D ,C. area provided delightful music to go with the refreshments on a balmy day which only threatened rain.
