Pledges For Industry

Pass Half-Way Mark

H. S. Barksdale, Chairman of the Rappahannock Industrial Development Committee, announced yesterday that pledges for the Aileen plants to be constructed near Flint Hill have reached the halfway mark with only a week of soliciting and the total $40,000 is assured by the May 14 deadline. There are yet a good many pledges to be paid and the committee hopes to have these in hand by the first of the month. Of the remaining pledges, $16,000 is assured and many contacts have not been made.

If you did not make a pledge and wish to invest in this industry, contact H. S. Barksdale, Flint Hill, Va.

It is now a certainty that Rappahannock County will have an Aileen plant.
