2360 Chest X-Rays

Taken By Mobile Unit

A total of 2360 films were taken by the health department mobile X-ray unit, a ecording to Mrs. Gladys Lewis, Executive Director of the Warren-Rappahannock-CIarke Tuberculosis Association. Of this number 505 were taken at the American Viscose Gate, 1346 on the street of Front Royal, 225 at SchwarzenbachHuber Co., 75 at Riverton Lime and Stone Co., and 94 for Old Virginia Packing and General Chemical Co. with 115 taken in Rappahannock County, during three days in March and a week in April.

Mrs. Carl R. Parrish, TB Committee Chairman expressed her appreciation of the assistance given by the local Cancer Society, Heart Association and volunteers, as well as the officials of theMustries involved. (

State Department X-ray technicians manning the unit are Messrs. Lee Haga and Charles Wootton.
