Mr. Cornet, Manager of Culpeper Farmers Co-op said they’d have their truck there to demonstrate application of herbicide-liquid nitrogen. Also they will try to have another truck on hand to demonstrate application of dry fertilizer materials. Although the, type of truck will not be available to spread fertilizer materials for Rappahannock farmers this season, it will be interesting to see the job it does.
The principle: dry nitrogen, phosphate and potash materials are placed in separate hoppers and each applied at rates to fill the exact needs of the crop based on Ifertility
