Mr. Robinson will oppose Mr. John O. Marsh, Jr., the Democratic nominee, in the November election. Mr. Marsh was victorious in the July primary with a landslide vote.

Traffic Accidents

Reported

There were two traffic accidents reported in Rappahannock County in the past few days.

On July 12 on Route 211 one mile west of Washington, two cars collided. As George Henry foster of Washington pulled into the highway from a lane he was struck by Henry Cofer Martin of Alexandria driving a 58 Chevrolet. Martin was passing another vehicle on a double solid line and sideswiped the foster car, a 59 Chevrolet. There was no personal injury and damage was estimated at $800, according to State Police W. A. Buntin.

Albert Harrison Compton was uninjured- July 14 when the car he was driving ran off the left side of the road and struck a bridge abutment on Route 615 between Castleton and Estes. The vehicle was a total loss.
