“But Friendly Words Are A Delight To Him” (Proverbs 15r2dB . . Moffat).

GOD THE OWNER

If you are a child of God you ownf nothing, for everything belojigs to God. He owns all mate•"ml things by creation, for He were made by Him” (John 1:3). You are his by redemption “Know. ye not that_ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price” *(11 Cor. 6:19-20). Thus by creation God is owner.

God trusts us. We are trustees of his property and we make investments for the Master. He expects us to be honest with him and deal fairly. We are to give an account to Him of our stewardship and he will reward us in accordance with our faithfullness.

If God finds that he can trust us with lesser things such as property and money, he will trust us also with spiritual ability and energy. Without spiritual power we cannot win souls, build churches, and lead large numbers of people to worship God. We must recognise his ownership,'for all things belong to him. He commits them to our care and keeping. We must be faithful stewards.

“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful” (I Cor. 4:2).
