Cary Williams
Sandy Cary Williams, 75, of Chester Gap, died Sunday morn>ng>jJuly 15 in Warren County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of Scott Funeral IHome in Front Royal on Tuesday at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Intermenjt was in the Williams Cemetery! at Chester Gap.
Surviving with his widow, Mrs. LuCy Williams, are eight sons, Randolph, Haywood, Leo, Garfield, Elwood, Downing and Linwood Williams, all of Chester Gap and Dalton Williams of Front Royal; three daughters, Misses Mattie and Jessie Williams and Mrs. Horace Dulin, all of Chester Gap; a sister, Mrs. Luther North, Chester Gap; thirteen! grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Mr. Williams was born in Rappahannock County, September 1, 1886, the son of George William Williams and Alice Hall Williams, He was retired from the old Remount Depot in Front Royal.
