Local Hound Wins

In Md. Night Trials

Intervale Folly, owned by W. H. Lyne of Washington, Va., won 8th High General Average at the Maryland State Night Trials held May 3rd and 4th on Kent Island. In placing 8th H. G. A. Folly‘s scores by classes were as follows: Hunting-55 points, Trailing-no score, Speed arid Drive-180 (5th High), Endurance-35 points (6th High) Hounds, (around 100) were entered from New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. On both hunts hounds were cast at 1:00 a. ro. On May 3rd they were in full cry in a matter of seconds after being cast. Running was hard and continuous until 9:15 a. m.when the hunt' was called by the master of Hounds, a Mr. Wendell of Massachusetts. Hunters reported , never having heard such: terrific cry; Judges (22 in all) reported never having scored so often and so many different hounds.
