Final plans for an addition to the building which houses the Extension Agents offices was approved by the Rappahan nock County Board of Supervisors when they convened for the September meeting. W. C. Campbell pr e s e n te d sketches of the proposed addition which received approval along with a bid of $1,631.50 by Woodrow Coughlin for the construction. Also approved was a bid for the septic system. The construction will include a restroom and storage facility.
The Board authorized the purchase of a police radio for use in the car of the Deputy Sheriff, John Walker Jenkins. Routine business included payment of animal claims from the Dog Fund, and authorizing payment of several hospital bills for indigent patients which were submitted by Mrs. Elizabeth Buntin of the local Welfare Department.
