Luncheon guests on Friday of Mrs. Perle Coffey were Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Goodman. Jr. of Richmond. Mrs. Coffey accompanied Mrs. Alice Verner, Mrs. Mary Updike of Washington for a weekend visit to Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jenkins and family in Suffolk. During her absence Mrs. Harry Smith spent the weekend with Mrs. Robert W. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar and Mrs. W. H. Cordle, sons David and Lewis were in Stafford on Friday at a dinner party given by Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Cloe, Jr. in honor of Mr. Cloe’s brother-in-law and sister, Dr. and Mrs. John Gates of Vaselia, California. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. T. J. pillar attended the baptism of their grandson, William Weedon III at the Aqula Church, Godmother was Miss Scott Moncure, Godfathers were Dr. John Gates and L*t. John Hale Cloe.
