Several days ago my wife was watching television and some reference was made to Dor Quixote. She asked me if I knew the story. I told her I had read the story a long time ago, but the details were hazy in my mind. ] tried to read it in Spanish when ] was young. With my pool knowledge of the language and constant referring to the Spanish dictionary I made slow progress it the best. I think I finished it I’m not sure. As I recall it, the Don and his more-or-less faithful servant went ibout trying to do good. Quixote evidently had poor vision as he mistook windmills for giants Seems that he was unhorsed several times while tilting at these make-believe giants. It boils down to this conclusior the hero possessed an idealistic kind of goodness rather than i realistic or practical kind. It reminds me of the man in the Book (Letter, Sermon) of James who goes over to a neighbor’: rouse and finds him destitute Maybe there is no heat in the louse, the neighbor is hovering iver a tiny fire in the fireplace
