Gala Football Weekend At Woodberry
Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Parrish and family of Viewtown with guests attended the Episcopal High-Woodberry Forest football game Saturday at Woodberry Forest. Their weekend houseguests included Mrs. W. Laird Stabler, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Canby and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Applegate and children Bobby and Jane, all of Wilmington, Del. Laird Canby, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Canby, is a member of the Episcopal football squad. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Parrish of Rixeyville whose son Charles T. Parrish is attending Woodberry Forest; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lewis of Flint Hill and their son Thomas A. Lewis, Jr. of Princeton, N.J. who graduated from Woodberry Forest two years ago; and by Mr. and Mrs. Richard S. Barron of Norfolk (he was a faithful Woodberry graduate). They had a “root, root, rooting” good time.
