Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell and family of Madison Heights and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Louis Miller, Jr. of New Carrollton, Md. will spend Thanksgiving Day and the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller. Miss Judy Burtner will spend Thanksgiving with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Burtner at Mt. Solon. On Friday she will go to Watanga, Tenn. where she will be maid of honor Saturday at the Brubaker-Hammonds wedding.
Mrs. Mary Cleverley returned home Thursday after a week’s visit with her cousin, Mrs. Lester D. Watson at Milton, Mass, and with friends at Brewster, on Cape Cod. Mrs. Cleverley will spend Thanksgiving Day with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Warren McConchie in Arlington.
Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. and Mrs. F. W. Spalding entertained at a dinner party Saturday night at the Quality Motel Restaurant at Front Royal in honor of Miss Jaqulyn (Jill) Rodgers and Capt. John M. Humphries whose marriage will take place on Thanksgiving Day.
Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Curtis attended the Maryland-Virginia football game Saturday in Charlottesville and were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Davenport.

Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs; M. H. Brady were Mr. and Mrs. Lake Lester and two sons Bill and Brad of Manassas and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Grimsley.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Putnam, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lillard, Jr. and two children and Mrs. Robert Lillard, Sr., all of Front Royal were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Pullen.
