Sunset vespers
The Chancel Choir of the First Baptist Church, Waynesboro, will bring a special musical program for the opening service of the thirty-third Annual Sunset Vespers at the Singing Tower, Luray, on Sunday, July 1.
As in former years, Carillonneur Charles T. Chapman will bring the Carillon Recital before the Vespers. His recital will begin at 7:45 p.m. with the Vespers beginning at 8:15 p.m.
The program leader for this opening service will be Dr. M. Jackson White. In the event of continuous rain, the service will be held in the Main Street Baptist Church following the Carillon Recital.
