Charlie Smoot, Jr. entered Warren Memorial Hospital on Sunday. He underwent surgery on Monday and is expected home Saturday. Judge and Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Jr. visited Rev. and Mrs. C. E. Buxton in Springfield and Lt. (jg) Page Moffett in Annandale Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda and family of Fairfax were weekend guests of J. S. Weaver. John Weaver of Arlington visited on Friday and Leo Wood of Reva Park, Culpeper who has just returned from a three week visit with his brothers in California was a guest on Saturday.
Charles Albright, Jr. of Chapel Hill, N. C. flew into Culpeper Airport Friday and spent the weekend here with his parents Dr. and Mrs. Charles Albright.
Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Ridgel of Irmo, S. C. and Mr. and Mrs. John S. Tuma of Rockville, Md. were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. -Richard Tuma.
Capt. William Weiner of Bridgewater was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller on Wednesday. Other overnight guests of the Millers this week were George and Nancy Massie on Saturda^Dayid Evans of Lexington on Sunday and Eric Lindenblad of Chesterfield, Mo. on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. James Slack of Churchville, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser Saturday.
James Adkins and daughters Aletha and Lavenne spent last week in Peterstown, W. Va. where Mr. Adkins attended a conference at Dry Run Regular Baptist Church. Mrs. Adkins with Barry, Kevin, Roger and Benita joined them on Friday for the weekend.
