Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne entertained with a family picnic Sunday at their home, Locust Shade, near Amissville, in honor of Mrs. Payne’s cousin Robert Anderson and his wife Jean and son Jimmy of Gaithersburg, Md. The Andersons will move soon to North Dakota, where he will be a pharmacist on an Indian reservation.
Others attending included Mr. and Mrs. Robert Armentrout and children Shelly and Christine of Newark, Del.; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Robinson and daughters ^Melissa and Dana of Warrenton; Peyton Anderson of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Carder and daughters Jennifer, Beverly and Martha, Gerald Moore and William Koontz, all of Culpeper.
