A coronation ceremony was held Friday and Miss Estes received her tiara from last year’s queen, Mrs. Debbie Smoot Wines. Acting as Emcee was Kermit Weakley.
The grand prize, a 1973 Ford Pinto was awarded Otis Nicholson of Waftoington. John Lansberry of Riverton received the $50 second prize and the two cases of oil went to Jack Bruce of Washington. A colonial lamp given away went to R.W.Wharton of Warrenton. □
