MR. AND MRS. JAMES BOOTEN PRIEST of Amissville celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Sunday with a reception at the Amissville fire hall given by their children.
Mr. and Mrs. Priest were married June 23, 1923, at the home of the Rev. T. P. Brown. They have two children: Charlie Priest of Amissville and Mrs. Donald (Peggy) Rhodes of Woodbridge. There are six grandchildren.
Mrs. Priest is the former Susie Jane Hitt and they have lived most of their married life in the Amissville area.D
