MR. AND MRS. EUGENE DODSON of Amissville celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary Sunday. They were honored with a surprise dinner and party given by their children at the home of Mr._ and Mrs. Gene Marshall Dodson at Castleton.
Mr. and Mrs. Dodson were married July 13, >•1938, at the home of the Rev. George W. Cox in Culpeper. They have seven children and three grandchildren, all of whom were present for the party. They are Mrs. Sherlean Wayland and Mrs. Joyce Wilson of Viewtown, Gene Dodson, Castleton, Ronald Dodson, Clarence Dodson, and Mrs. Janet Hitt, all of Amissville, and Mrs. Gloria Switzer of Culpeper.
Others present included Larry Wayland and children Sean and Kim and Craig Wilson of Viewtown; Mrs. Gene Dodson, Gastleton; Milton Switzer Jr., Culpeper; Roger Hitt, Mrs. Clarence Dodson and son Wayne and Mrs. Ann Adams, Tammy and Richie, all of Amissville. Mrs. Fannie Bawkey of Rixeyville, Mrs. Eugene Dodson’s mother, also attended.
