Supervisior named
Col. Pete Luke was named Wednesday to be the member from Piedmont District on the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors. This vacancy was created by the August 1 resignation of Mrs. Betty Coates from this position. Col. Luke will serve until the 1974 general election at which time a board member from this district will be elected.
Judge Snead heard potential candidates and voters from that district before making a decision which he announced late Wednesday.
