THE MARRIAGE of Miss Teresa Cordani to Donald Bryant was solemnized Saturday, July 21, 1973, in St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Culpeper, with the Rev. John W. Chapell performing the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Cordani of Amissville. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Morris Bryant of Cumberland, Tn.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of white nylon organza fashioned with a high neckline and shepherdess sleeves. The chapel length veil was attached to a cap and she carried a bouquet of white daisies, miniature mums and baby’s breath.
Miss Charlotte Printz of Amissville was maid of honor. She wore a short green dress and white picture hat with streamers to match the dress. Bridesmaids were Miss Cindy Nance of Edwin, N.C. and Miss Barbara Dowdy of Cumberland, Tn., both classmates at nursing school. Their gowns were blue and pink, respectively and they wore white picture hats with matching streamers. Their flowers were baskets of daisies and mums.
Robert A. Cordani of Lynchburg, brother of the bride, was best man and ushers were Roger Cordani of Amissville, also her brother, and Gordon Fillingame of Lynchburg, her brother-in-law. A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Bryant will reside in Lynchburg, where she has accepted a position at the Virginia Baptist Hospital. He is employed by Dan River Mills. □
