Adm Josef Gardiner of Flint Hill donated the heifer. The grand prize, a ‘73 Ford Torino, will be given away at the close of activities Saturday night. Other prizes include $75, $50 and $25 cash prizes, a billiard table and other items.
FUN AND EXCITEMENT will be provided by a variety of rides on the midway and stands and concessions of all types designed to entertain folk of all ages. Appetites can be appeased at the food stand where hot dogs, hamburgers, coffee and confections will be sold.
The display of wildlife under the direction of local Game Warden Irvin L. Kenyon Jr. should be seen by all, as well as the Highway Department’s exhibit. □
