Madison field trials

THE 1973 ANNUAL MADISON COUNTY Bird Dog Field Trials sponsored by the Madison .Wildlife Association will be held Saturday, November 3. Beginning at 9 a.m. at the Ernest Yowell farm on Route 652, two miles west of Madison, the first of the fall events will feature three classes: Class I—Madison County Champion, open to all dog owners who are residents of Madison County. Class II—Out-of-County Champion, open to any dog owner who lives outside Madison County. Class III—Grand Champion, the winner of Class I, the Madison County Champion versus the winner of Class II, the out-of-county champion. Only one prize will be awarded in this class. An added attraction, Class IV, is a one-class Puppy Trial open to all with bird dog puppies 12 months and under. This race will be run following the Grand Champion Class.

The Association has announced that entry fees for Classes I through III will be $1 for membership in the association and $3 per dog; however, the entry fee for the Puppy Trials will be $1 per dog. The pairing will be held the day of the trials.□
