The varsity Pantherettes ended their basketball season with a victory Monday night. They defeated William Monroe by a score of 16-13. Sharon Foster was high scorer with a total of 7 points along with Molly Dennis who scored 6. The JV team played a good game but were defeated 15-7.
The Cross Country Team competed with Randolph Macon, William Monroe, and Clarke County at 9 home meet Tuesday. The Panthers came out ahead with a score of 19, Randolph Macon, 95, William Monroe 91 and Clarke County 40. Ronnie Nicholson and Jerry Thomas had greatly improved their running along with Earl Lily and Raymond Groves.
The District meet will be held at Stonewall Jack
