A BEAUTIFUL fall sight was the hound parade on the long green lawn before Stonehaven House in view of the flag-flanked stirrup cup table, the enthusiastic spectators-and a mounted field of 35 foxhunters, on that glistening morning of Rappahannock Hunt’s Opening Meet, October 27.
Ground supporters included Mrs. N. K. G. Tholand and her house guests from Sweden, Capt. and Mrs. LennartLindgren and Col. and Mrs. Sten Geijer; Mrs. Nandor Blacz and Henry Nelson of England. In- the field, Mrs. Nelson, who hunts with the Warwickshire, and Mr. Blacz of Hungary, were anticipating their first foxhunt with a U. S. pack.
