Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Chadwell were hosts to Mr. and Mrs. William Elkins and Tommy of Lewells, W. Va. for Thanksgiving dinner.
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Reil of Hampton were Thanksgiving guests of his grandfather, Willie B. Mills, and Gary’s mother, Mrs. Rose Mae Bussey, and visited his grandmother, in Warren Memorial Hospital. Saturday Mr. Mills accompanied Mrs. Bussey to her home in Salem for a visit.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fidler and son, Keithren, of Front Royal were dinner guests of Mrs. Laura Fidler Thanksgiving Day.
Wednesday, November 24, Mrs. Evelyn Seal was given a breakfast at the Quality Court Restaurant in Front Royal by her fellow workers in honor of her 20th anniversary with the Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company. Mrs. Seal was also presented with a 20-year service pin and a silver tray. Besides the honoree, those present were J.B. Johnson, District Manager of the Winchester District, R.L. Greene, Staff Manager of the Front Royal Office; and agents: Carroll F. Settle, Archie D. Bailey, Jr., Stewart W. Nesbitt, William A. Gore, and Orley F. Seal.
