The Julia E. Buddie Scholarship Committee invites the youth of the Rappahannock community to participate in an essay competition in celebration of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr.s birthday.
Awards in several categories will bo presented on Sunday. Jan. IS at 4 p.m., during the ISth Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr. Celebration in Rappahannock County held at The Theatre, on Cay Street in Washington.
The essay competition theme is: “Remember. Celebrate, Act: A day on. not a day off.* Students in 1st through 12th grades an' eligible.
