Jamie Nicole Smoot and Brian Thomas Compton were united in marriage on Sept. 20 at Reynold’s Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville.
The ceremony was preformed by Rev. Jon Heddieston.
The church was handsomely decorated with pink, red. and white roses and candles.
Given in marriage by her uncle. David Menefee of Stephens City, and escorted down the aisle by her unde. William Southard of Flint Hill, the bride wore a long: white gown with pearl beading, and silver lining: with a chapel length train.
To complete her ensemble the bride carried a bouquet of red and pink roses.
Destiny R. Compton of Castleton was the matron of honor.
Ashley R. Jones of Culpeper was the maid of honor.
The bridesmaids were Cheryl G. Ralls of Louisa. Va.. and Stephanie M. Wharton of Sperryville. The attendants wore long black gowns with white sashes around the waist and carried bouquets of red and pink roses.
The flower girl was a niece of the bride. Amethyst Ralls of Louisa. Va. She wore a white long gown with beach ing and carried a basket with red and pink rose petals.
The groom wore a black tuxedo with a white bow tie and vest with the matrix design.
The best man was Jeff R. Compton of Castleton.
Groomsmen were Mark E. Wharton. Gary L. Wharton, both of Sperryville. and Walter J. Bourdage of Kalama. Wash.
